About the Internship

This is a fully online, self-paced, project-based internship in Data Visualization. Instead of watching lectures, you will work the way a junior business-intelligence analyst works: you receive a real-world style business dataset, set up your own analytics workstation, explore the data, decide which questions matter, design an interactive dashboard in either Microsoft Power BI or Tableau, and then communicate your findings to a non-technical audience through a short presentation and a recorded walkthrough video.

The internship uses the globally popular Sample Superstore retail dataset (about 9,994 order lines, 21 columns, orders placed between 2014 and 2017, roughly 2.3 million USD of total sales). It is clean enough for beginners to start quickly, yet rich enough (sales, profit, discount, region, segment, category, shipping) to support genuinely insightful analysis.
